I didn’t felt like commenting anything about the tragic death of Amy Winehouse, although I was a great fan (she was on my top 3 list ‘to go concerts’, together with Kings of Leon [done] and Bob Dylan). It was chock when I heard and it doesn’t feel real. What made me realize how truly sad this early departure was, is that we are not gonna see what she could became in the future…

Eu não senti vontade comentar nada sobre a trágica morte de Amy Winehouse, embora eu seja uma grande fã (ela estava na minha lista top 3 de show, junto com Kings of Leon [feito] e Bob Dylan). Foi chock quando ouvi a notícia e não parece real. O que me fez perceber como realmente triste essa partida antecipada foi, é que não vão ver o que ela se tornaria no futuro…

Same Old Chic PinkPop

Sunday I went to another festival, PinkPop, much bigger than Campus Pop, and the biggest in The Netherlands, together with Lowlands Festival, soon to come in August. I choose to go on Sunday since Kings of Leon were the main attraction . I was lucky that the same day Hanson was also playing, in a smaller stage, and after MMMBop only the true fans remained and I could see everything from relatively close. Don’t even have to say that Kings of Leon was amazing, and fortunately they played also the old songs – my favorites. The festival surprise was Wolfmother, an Autralian band that I didn’t know, although I have the feeling I heard some of their songs before.

Sunday was sunny, but in The Netherlands you never know. So I decided to wear linen  pants, a long sleeve T-shirt, on top of a tank top, and to take a little cardigan.

Domingo fui a outro festival, o PinkPop, muito maior que o Campus Pop, e um dos maiores da Holanda, junto com o Lowlands Festival, que acontece logo mais, em agosto. Eu escolhi ir no domingo, já Kings of Leon era a atração principal. Eu tive sorte que no mesmo dia os Hanson também tocaram, em um palco menor, e depois de MMMBop só os verdadeiros fãs permaneceram e eu pude ver tudo de relativamente perto. Nem preciso dizer que Kings of Leon foi incrível, e, felizmente, eles tocaram também as músicas antigas – minhas preferidas. A surpresa do festival ficou por conta de Wolfmother, uma banda australiana que eu não conhecia, embora eu tenha a impressão que eu ouvi algumas de suas canções antes.

Domingo fez sol, mas na Holanda nunca se sabe. Decidi usar uma calça de linho, uma camiseta de manga comprida, por cima de uma regata, e levar um casaquinho.
