In Coco Chanel: An Intimate Life biographer Lisa Chaney’claims to have evidence that Chanel used drugs, acknowledged bisexuality and had an affair with Salvador Dalí, who was that the time married. The book also reveals that her lover Hans Gunther von Dincklage was a Nazi spy during World War II, if Chanel is aware of this fact is not known, but postwar the designer lived for some time in Switzerland, neutral territory, in order to avoid a possible proceedings. A biography worth reading!

Em Coco Chanel: An Intimate Life a biógrafa Lisa Chaney afirma ter provas concretas que Chanel usou drogas, reconhecia o bissexualismo e teve um caso amoroso com Salvador Dalí, que na época era casado. O livro também revela que seu amante Hans Gunther von Dincklage era um espião nazista durante a segunda guerra mundial, se Chanel tinha conhecimento desse fato não se sabe, porém no pós guerra a estilista viveu por um período na Suíça, território neutro, afim de evitar um possível processo legal. In a collaboration with Camilla Morton, author of the bestselling How to Walk in High Heels and A Year in High Heels, Lacroix illustrates the fairy tale book Christian Lacroix and the tale of Sleeping Beauty. The book combines elements of his life with the story we already know. This is the first of a series that will have the participation of Manolo Blanik and John Galliano. In another collaboration with the famous Italian mosaics factory Sicis The Art Mosaic, Lacroix has created furniture, inspired by the mosaics of the Byzantines empress Theodora, which will be presented in April at the Salone del Mobile in Milan
