Power tip of the girlfriend Cataclisma Material, she is always digging a nice little thing on the net. The siblings Nate and Salli Swindell Padavick two handful illustrators had the idea of creating  the site They Draw & Cook that is a delight, it’s great for the eyes and for those who enjoy cooking site is great for the palate! This receipt site is illustrated by the duo and also by a lot of talented people from all corners of the world. Part of the site is devoted to the illustrators out there, clicking on the map you can see receipts and where master cooks illustrators are! Look how nice the Crazy Black Girl, the cake that I ate in many lazy afternoons of my adolescence.

Super dica da amiga Cataclisma Material, que está sempre fuçando uma coisinha legal na rede – ai que moderno falar rede. Os irmãos Nate Padavick e Salli Swindell ilustradores de mão cheia tiveram a ideia de criar o site They Draw &  Cook que é uma delicia, faz bem aos olhos e para aqueles que gostam da cozinha o site faz bem ao paladar! Se trata de receitas ilustradas pela dupla e também por um montão de gente talentosa de todos os cantos do mundo. Uma parte do site é dedicado aos ilustradores espalhados por aí, clicando no mapa dá para visualizar as receitas e onde os ilustradores mestre cucas se encontram! Olha que bacana a Nega Maluca, o bolo que comi muito nas tardes ociosas da minha adolescência.

Rolando Robinson is a graphic designer, illustrator, photographer, fashion enthusiast and uffff also very talented person! The artist holds a simple – a rare thing this days – website where you can see his work, his inspiration sources and even read his diary. Rolando is responsible for the creating of the characters known as The Follicles “astonishing beings with captivated appeal to suck you in”. The cute dolls have amazing origami clothes that remind my childhood paper dolls. Through out his web page, and also his blog, Circle. Square., you can fell the honesty in of his work, and words. Truly genuine.

Phone calls to the once loved. Conversations with the once known, and laughs with the once enjoyed. Life is so unexpected and instead of giving me what I need, I’m given something a little different. Who knows where this is going to go.

Rolando Robinson é um designer gráfico, ilustrador, fotógrafo, um entusiasta da moda e ufff também muito talentoso! O artista tem um site simples – uma coisa rara nos dias de hoje – onde você pode ver o seu trabalho, suas fontes de inspiração e até mesmo ler seu diário. Rolando é responsável pela criação dos personagens conhecidos como The Follicles “seres surpreendentes, com apelo cativante que te sugam”. As bonequinhas são adoráveis e têm roupinhas incríveis feitas de origami (que lembram a minha infância quando eu brincava de bonecas de papel). Através da sua página na web, e também seu blog, Circle.Square. você pode sentir a honestidade do seu trabalho, e das suas palavras. Verdadeiramente genuíno e sensibilidade a flor da pele.

Every once in a while artists get inspiration in the fashion world to produce their work. The young illustrator Laura Wells produced the series History of Shoes. We want more! I reckon she should also do the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s, to complete the series!  Here is some inspiration for the decades missing.
