This monday during the Haute Couture week in Paris Raf Simons presented his first collection for Maison Dior. In my humble opinion the collection showed a modern version of Dior’s early days, an up dated new look, but nothing new.

Nesta segunda-feira durante a semana  de Alta Moda em Paris Raf Simons apresentou sua primeira coleção para a Maison Dior. Na minha humilde opinião a coleção se mostrou como uma versão moderna dos primórdios da Dior, um new look atualizado, but nothing new.

Same Old Chic Valentino Haute Couture

 

In a delicate, feminine and bow collection the duo Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli’s presented their fourth Haute Couture outing for the Valentino label. The collection for was made for a young and feminine woman, the “baby doll” dresses had shades of black, ivory, and of course Valentino’s classic red. The dresses wore with little leather gloves, with big bows, gourgeous, just like the shoes, also with bow details.

Em uma coleção delicada, feminina e cheia de “laços”  a dupla Maria Grazia Chiuri e Pier Paolo Piccioli apresentram sua quarta coleção pare Valentino Haute Couture. Feita para uma mulher jovem e feminina, os vestidos baby-doll  variaram entre tons de marfim, preto, e, claro, o vermelho clássico de Valentino. Os vestidos tiveram como acessório luvinhaa de coiro, com grandes laçarotes, lindas, diga-se de passagem, assim como os sapatos, também com detalhes de laço.

After his first collaboration with lingerie line La Perla – and a life time of underwear inspirations – it’s no surprise Jean Paul Gaultier explore the Parisian – Burlesque mood in his Haute Couture collection. No one could represent better the atmosphere then the burlesque performer Dita Von Teese – she appeared in the runway in a black dress, soon after she stripped down to a beaded corset, thong and suspenders. The models wore high twisted turbans, and came on smoking cigarettes, in exaggerated shapes, metallics, fur and leather.

Depois da sua primeira colaboração com linha de lingerie La Perla – e uma de vida toda envolta em inspirações nas roupas de baixo- não foi nenhuma surpresa Jean Paul Gaultier explorar o clima Parisiense Burlesque em sua coleção Haute Couture. Ninguém poderia representar melhor a atmosfera que a artista burlesca Dita Von Teese – ela apareceu na passarela com um vestido preto, e loguinho foi se despindo, até ficar só com espartilho bordado, fio dental e suspensórios. As modelos usavam turbantes altos torcidos, e fumavam cigarros, vestidas em formas exageradas, metálicos, peles e couro.

Same Old Chic Elie Saab Haute Couture

 

The Lebanese designer Elie Saab presented his collection for the Haute Couture Fashion Weeks yesterday in Paris, and just like it should the line is filled with flown dresses, and a few sexy tailleur. This time the inspiration came from the “tale” of the phoenix arising from the ashes, and therefor the palette was a flame! Shades of red, blue – you can spot when the fire is deep, and also shades of ash-gray – like in the brides’ dress, in silk tulle.

O estilista libanês Elie Saab apresentou sua coleção para a Haute Couture Fashion Week ontem, em Paris, e como deve ser a linha está repleta de vestidos esvoaçantes, e alguns tailleurs sexy. Desta vez, a inspiração veio do “conto” da fênix se reerguendo das cinzas, e e como consequência  a paleta de cores foi uma chama! Com tons de vermelho, azul – você pode ver no fogo intenso, e também tons “das cinzas” – como no vestido de noiva, em tule de seda.

“A romantic way to see death” described Ricardo Tsici excelling as true Haute Couturie, about his collection inspired by Frida Khalo – who’s life obsession was the human anatomy. The dominant motif of the line as a skeleton, appliqué on tulle, or represented in 3D – in crystal, pear and lace, on the back of a jacket. Dresses embroidery with gold paillettes, beads and stones, and detailed with a cascade of ostrich feathers. Everything immaculate white and champagne, and all the other sorts of that color, been the darkest of all a chocolate look.

“Uma maneira romântica de ver a morte”, descreveu Ricardo Tsici, sobressaindo-se como um verdadeiro Couturier da alta-moda, sobre sua coleção inspirada em Frida Khalo – cuja obsessão vida era a anatomia humana. O tema dominante da linha foi esqueleto, aplicado em tule, ou representado em 3D – em cristal, pêra e rendas, nas costas de um casaco. Vestidos bordados com lantejoulas de ouro, pérolas e pedras, e detalhada com uma cascata de plumas de avestruz. Tudo branco, imaculado, e champanhe, e todos os outros tons que a cor proporciona, o look mais escuro foi um chocolate.

 In deep  color shades and “armor” style the models made their way, around a giant 12 meters sculpture of golden lion, at the Chanel Haute Couture défilé, yesterday in Paris. Many looks wore in deep red, navy and brown, with details of fur on pied-de-poule and tweed, and richly embroidery pieces, and lot and lots of cropped jackets with elbow-length sleeves on top of a high-waist, to-the-knee skirts.

A Chanel mostrou sua coleção para a semana de Alta Moda ontem, em Paris. Com cores de tons profundos e  estilos “armadura” as modelos desfilaram em torno de uma escultura gigantesca de 12 metros, um leão dourado. Muitos looks em vermelho profundo, azul-marinho e variantes do marrom e caramelo, com detalhes de pele em pied-de-poule e tweed, e peças ricamente bordadas, com muitos e muitos casacos cropped, com as mangas até cotovelo, por cima saias de cintura alta, até os joelhos

Same Old Chic Armani Privé Haute Couture

 

The collection of the Italian couturier Giorgio Armani for his line Armani Privé had a palette of every possible shade of the gemstone amber. The défilé transpired a 40’s chic in every look, with beautifully constructed suits in tweed, outlined by a mysterious talisman button, and the jackets projecting shoulders. The gowns wore shimmery metallic, sequin, and mermaid like, here and there some knots wore added giving the dresses a sarong movement.

A coleção do estilista italiano Giorgio Armani para sua linha Armani Privé teve uma paleta inspirada e todos os tons possíveis do âmbar. O desfile transpirou um ar chic de anos 40 em cada look, com ternos muito bem construído em tweed, delineados por “misteriosos” botões de talismã e jaquetas de ombros salientes. Os vestidos tinham um brilho metálico, lantejoulas, tipo sereia, e aqui e ali alguns nós foram usados nos vestidos dando um movimento de sarongue.

Same Old Chic Maison Martin Margiela Haute Couture

 

Martin Margiela may not be responsible anymore for the collections for the Maison that still carries his name, but his legacy still inspires the creative team. Yesterday the brand presented, for the Haute Couture Fashion Week, a collection made of pieces of clothes and bags – second hand and new – gathered, by Margiela himself, along his life. No wonder the line carries the name Artisanal, the pieces are made of real and fake leather, playing with textures, suede and shine. Among the creations there is a jacket made of handbags – which took 61 hours of work to complete, and the cowboy jumpsuit, made of boots – 116 hours to be produced!

Martin Margiela não pode ser mais responsável pelas coleções para a Maison, que ainda leva seu nome, mas seu legado ainda inspira a equipe criativa. Ontem, a marca apresentou, para a Haute Couture Fashion Week, uma coleção feita de pedaços de roupas e bolsas – nova e segunda mão – reunidas pelo próprio Margiela ao longo de sua vida. Não é de se admirar que a linha leve o nome Artesanais, já que as peças são feitas de couro verdadeiro e falso, jogando com texturas, camurça e superfícies brilhosas e opacas. Entre as criações há uma jaqueta feita de bolsas – que levou 61 horas de trabalho para ser concluída, e o jumpsuit cowboy, feito de botas – 116 horas para ser produzido
