The Tale of Sleeping Beauty available February 30
It may even be two years since Christian Lacroix last presented a collection of haute couture, but by no means the couturier stopped using his creativity. In a collaboration with Camilla Morton, author of the bestselling How to Walk in High Heels and A Year in High Heels, Lacroix illustrates the fairy tale book Christian Lacroix and the tale of Sleeping Beauty. The book combines elements of his life with the story we already know. This is the first of a series that will have the participation of Manolo Blanik and John Galliano. In another collaboration with the famous Italian mosaics factory Sicis The Art Mosaic, Lacroix has created furniture, inspired by the mosaics of the Byzantines empress Theodora, which will be presented in April at the Salone del Mobile in Milan

Pode até fazer dois anos que Christian Lacroix não exibe uma coleção de alta costura, mas nem por isso o couturier deixou de usar sua criatividade. Em uma colaboração com Camilla Morton, autora dos best-sellers How to Walk in Hight Heels e A Year in High Heels, Lacroix ilustra o livro de conto de fadas Christian Lacroix e o conto da Bela Adormecida. O livro mistura elementos da sua vida com a história que nós já conhecemos. Esse é o primeiro de uma série que vai contar com a participação de Manolo Blanik e John Galliano. Em outra colaboração, com a famosa fábrica de mosaicos italiana Sicis The Art Mosaic, Lacroix criou móveis, inspirados nos mosaicos Byzantinos da imperatriz Theodora, que serão apresentados em abril no Salone del Mobile em Milão.
